This is mind-bending! This is basically a reverse Turing Test. There are 5 famous figures on a train…4 of them are AI…and they have to find the human among them. The video was made in Unity and voiced through ElevenLabs, and pitted GPT-4-Turbo, Claude 3 Opus, Llama 3, and Gemini Pro against each other. How well could YOU trick an AI? 🥸

AI detectors don't work. So...should we build human detectors instead? We already have liveness detection for facial recognition/biometrics (think: palm vein reading)...maybe we take it to the next level.

I could spot it a mile away for several reasons. The voice quality was like that of someone speaking through a mic, and they were much more tentative and used filler words. I know that sounds weird, but to seem more human, AI needs to create more flaws in it's presentational self. it should stumble over words and mispronounce things as well. It would make it harder to tell the difference.

This has the potential to be fun. Mozart seems like he's high. I think it's the lag.

Allie K. Miller, A Reverse-Turing Test, where #AI identifies if it's interacting with a human or another AI, redefines our understanding of machine intelligence. It involves analyzing response patterns and nuances, leveraging extensive training data, and addressing ethical and accuracy challenges. This test could advance AI development, enabling more sophisticated, human-like AI and enhancing AI system regulation and security.

The human made it little easy for the AI. I think AI must take that as well into consideration. The human was preoccupied because maybe he was nervous or had agendas. AI will have lag and performance issues but those are anyway managed. And the reply from human Chengis Khan was quite obviously from the negativity bias of humans. Although in case of Chengis Khan, intelligent humans also won't really bother discovering more. Another point here to consider is that humans have intelligently built gen AI LLMs. We can't gather so much info in a jiffy but we can surely save energy for those departments and there use AI wisely.

Unique post, Allie K. Miller -- appreciate it! Within moments of the start of the video, I pegged GK as the human stowaway -- not because of the overly elongated and unnecessary commentary of the AI's (majority of humans don't speak like that, we tend to get to the point) or the eventual natural pauses, changes of thought and filler words (are um, er, ah actual words though?) which GK blessed us with near the end. It was simply the visual of GK (AKA the human) pointing the camera phone (yes, I'm GenX) at the AI characters and identifying their respective models (i.e. ChatGPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini) -- I wonder if AI watching the same video would be able to pick up on that observation? 🤔

A new video generation model out of China has supposedly beaten OpenAI Sora.Created by Kuaishou Technology, a TikTok competitor, it promises to generate up to 2 minutes of content, resolution up to 1080p, 30 FPS, free aspect ratio.…but all the demos are only 4 seconds long and no major US news outlet has covered it. Kind of suspicious. Here’s the best one 👇

As folks panic over Terminator AI, I'm more concerned about society losing its grip on trust and reality.Maybe the doomsday talk is real. But here’s what I’m more worried about ⬇️ (1) TRUST: total loss of trust in everything, don’t know what is credible, doubting things that are true, believing things that are fake, erosion of confidence/society(2) NIHILISM: giving up and feeling worthless, a society filled with people who don’t know how to find self worth outside titles or productivity(3) ECONOMIC DOWNFALL: an already large financial divide becoming more pronouncedThoughts?

Here are recent AI prompts of mine, some work-related, some just fun:1) Fed ChatGPT 20-30 famous love letters and asked for a formula, common patterns, and differences between them.2) Fed ChatGPT neighborhoods I like and dislike in places I’ve lived (SF, NY, Philly, Boston). Asked for patterns and neighborhoods I might like in Austin.3) Told ChatGPT to act as my language translator and every English phrase I sent would be translated into Italian with a pronunciation guide.4) Built a GPT to convert negative thoughts into positive reframes and action.5) Asked ChatGPT to explain the history of St Petersburg and why the airport code is LED.6) Submitted screenshots of TikTok comments filled with slang and asked for a line-by-line translation into non-slang, plus a Gen Z glossary based on the comments.7) Submitted a super long contract and asked for red flags, recommendations, and clause edits. In a world obsessed with efficiency, it’s easy to forget the playful side of AI.Let’s change that.

So…this is wild.In five seconds, you can create a fully linked wikipedia page on any topic in the entire universe.Perplexity just dropped a new feature to Pro users called “Perplexity Pages”.Type in a topic, it automatically creates a webpage for it, with links and sources, you can publish it, share the link around, other people can access it, and other people can ASK FOLLOW UP QUESTIONS to the page. View count and followup count are public.Caveat: Perplexity will often hallucinate statistics and link to websites without the info there. You must verify the data. Here’s the one I made, check it out: https://lnkd.in/e7ByRkpV
