Smitherman died Friday morning at Henderson Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Waco and moved to Price in 1962 from New London. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Overton and retired in 1956 from the W. M. Mitchell Son Oil Co.

Mrs. Fuller died Thursday in a Duncan, hospital after a longillness. She was a one-time Jacksonville school teacher, a member of the Central Baptist Church here and a Lindale native. Mrs. Fuller lived in the Jacksonville area the past 62 years.

Survivors include her husband, Will Fuller of Jacksonville; a son, W. F. "Bill" Fuller of Duncan, two sisters, Mrs. Herman Byrd and Mrs. Ira Summers, both of Jacksonville; two grandchildren.

Tate Rites Slated Funeral services for Wilton G. "Big" Tate, 61, of 3301 Broadway are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Lloyd James Funeral Home with the Rev. Leroy Pattillo officiating. Burial will be in Mason Cemetery near Arp.

Mr. Tate died Thursday evening in a Tyler hospital after a sudden illness. He was a native of Arp and had lived in Tyler since 1971. He was a former construction superintendent for Tenneco until 1969 and since then had been construction supervisor for Scottish Inns of Texas. Tate was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Baptist Church.

He was a member of Crystal Fountain Lodge No. 282 in Orlinda, Scottish Rites Bodies in Bridgeport, Conn. and Sharon Temple Shrine. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Imogene Tate of Tyler; a daughter, Mrs.

Carolyn Fortu of Tampa, two brothers, Floyd W. Tate of San Antonio and George Tate of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Florene Rhode of Beaumont and two grandchildren. A. C.

Gentry Rites Pending Funeral services for Al C. Gentry, 74, 2719 E. Fifth are pending with Lloyd James Funeral Home. Mr. Gentry died Friday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Travis County and lived in Tyler 29 years. Mr. Gentry was a retired inspector for the Texas Department of Public Health, a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and of St. John's Masonic Lodge 53. Survivors include his wife, Mrs.

Ruby Gentry of Tyler; a daughter, Mrs. Jeannie Huie of Montgomery, a brother, Ben Gentry of Burnett; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Brewer and Mrs. Dona Campbell, both of Lockhart, and Mrs. Aba Baker of Iran; and several nieces and nephews.

7, Tyler, are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Issac Johnson and the Rev. Travis Freeman officiating. Burial will be at Williams Cemetery.

Mr. Bloodsworth died Thursday afternoon at Medical Hospital of injuries received in a traffic accident in Tyler earlier in the day. He was born in Rains County and was a graduate of Miller High School near Emory. He earned a master's degree at East Texas State University. He was a member of the Chapel Hill Lions club and was chairman of- the board of deacons of Bethel Baptist Church.

He had been employed by the Chapel Hill School district since 1950 and at the time of his death was assistant superintendent. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pauline Bloodsworth of Tyler; a son, Larry Bloodsworth of Houston; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Gail Smith of Tyler; his mother, Mrs. Zella Bloodsworth, of Sulphur Springs; a brother, Truman Bloodsworth of Euless, a sister, Mrs.

Alton Evans of Cumby; and a grandson. Pallbearers will be Smith, Wardell Jackson, Roland Lane, Winston Teal, Dr. T. Y. Harp, Charles Harris, Newt Cross and Troy Brewer.

Mrs. McBride Rites Slated Funeral services for Mrs. Grace McBride, 73, 2024 South Belmont are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Henry V.

She was the widow of Henry McBride, a former attorney in Wichita Falls and Tyler and a former city judge in Burkburnett. Crash Victim Still Critical A 29-year-old Tyler man injured in a three car collision that killed a Chapel Hill school administrator Thursday remained in critical condition at Medical Center Hospital after surgery Friday night, a hospital spokeswoman said. Charles Edward Aliff, 321 S. Bois d'Arc, was seriously injured in the same wreck that killed Charles H. Bloodsworth, assistant superintendent of the Chapel Hill Independent School District, Tyler Police said. A Department of Public Safety trooper said he had chased Aliff's car two miles for a traffic violation when the vehicle approached the East Front Street-Loop-323 intersection, where the fatal accident occurred.

A woman and a 12-year-old boy riding in a third car involved in the wreck were uninjured, police said. Bloodsworth died at Medical Center two hours after the wreck, which is still under investigation by police. Rain, Clouds Again Prevail Across ETex By The Assoiated Press Although rain soaked mouch of the eastern half of the state, the sun finally broke through over a large portion of western Texas Friday. The heaviest rains were in North Central and East Texas and along the upper Texas coast. Several funnel clouds and water spouts were spotted on the Bolivar Peninsula and in Galveston Bay.

Utopia, west of San Antonio, had 3.25 inches of rain the 24 hours ending Friday morning. Skies were fair in West and Northwest Texas and partly cloudy over the coastal plains and Southeast Texas. Temperatures were still below normal. Wichita Falls had the early afternoon high of 90 degrees. Tyler reported 77 degrees under cloudy skies for the low.

Showers and thundershowers were forecast for the eastern half of Texas through Saturday. The four European nations will produce 40 per cent of the value of F16s produced for their own air forces, 10 per cent of the value of the F16s going to the U.S. Air Force and 15 per cent of the value of F16s sold to nations other than the original five.

General. Dynamics will produce the remaining 35 per cent of the value of the program. In January 1975 the U.S. Air Force announced plans to buy a minimum of 650 of the jets. A total 998 F16s are on order.

A General Dynamics spokesman said the belgian production would be a valuable manufacturing experience for Sabca. Thus far only two prototypes have been produced for testing and General Dynamics currently is building eight "developmental" F16s for U.S. Air Force preproduction tests. Goodyear Agreement Reached WASHINGTON (UPI) Negotiators for Uniroyal Rubber Co. and the United Rubber Workers union reached tentative agreement on a new labor contract Friday in a dispute that has idled the company's plants for 20 weeks.

James F. Scearce, director of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, announced the agreement upon his return here from marathon talks held in New York City. No details of the agreement were disclosed pending a ratification vote by some 5,000 union members expected to be held sunday. Scearce said the tentative pact has the support of the union's bargaining committee. Rubber workers on April 21 struck four major companies, Uniroyal, Goodyear, Firestone and Goodrich.

Agreements have been reached at and Goodyear and their workers are back at their jobs. Scearce said negotiation efforts now will be concentrated on the Goodrich dispute.
